SUMMARY:The Squires
DESCRIPTION:The Squires perform as a 4-piece dance band from the St. Paul area that has been playing for wedding dances\, community events and various parties for over 50 years! \nFor over 25 years we had played at the Gasthof Zur Gemutlichkeit (A popular German Restaurant in NE Minneapolis) and had great responses from audiences of a wide range of ages. Unfortunately\, this location closed down in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. \nSince 2002\, we have taped 30 – 1 hour shows for cable TV’s Polka Spotlight Show. You can catch the shows at noon weekdays on Comcast Channel 6 in the east metro and channels 19/ 20 in the northwest metro around the clock. The show is also syndicated throughout many states and now streamed globally! We have been one of the most requested band by viewers of this unique show. We will be recording two more shows in March of 2025 as well\, bringing the total shows taped to 32! \nThese shows are especially a ‘hit’ with the senior homes around the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin who are loyal viewers of the shows! With the COVID pandemic during 2020-2022 there was much scaling back for musical events however\, the past year has seen more of  ‘normal’ levels of events for us to appear at. We now play well over 40 senior homes around the metro area and western Wisconsin. \nOver the past year\, we performed at many public events such as the Le Duc Mansion in Hastings\, MN\, the Little Log House Antique Power Weekend in July\, Oktoberfest’s in Hankinson\, ND\, Waldmann Brewery’s Oktoberfest in St. Paul\, MN\, Oktoberfest in Dallas\, WI.\, Omni Brewing in Maple Grove\, and a Concert in The Park in Blaine\, MN.  Along with these public events\, we play at over 40 different senior living locations around the Twin Cities and into western WI.  We are a big ‘hit’ wherever we appear and the folks love to sing along with us as well as dance too. \n2025 looks to be another busy year and many dates already are booked at this time including the annual Oktoberfest in Hankinson\, ND. (16th year)\, The Little Log House Antique Power Show weekend in July (17th year)\, The Le Duc Mansion Concert in the Park in Hastings\, MN. \, Dallas\, WI.’s Oktoberfest and returning to Waldmann Brewery in St. Paul for their fall Oktoberfest event. \nDon’t forget that The Squires Band is a great option for wedding dances\, birthday parties and anniversary parties as well as other corporate and community events all the year through! With the COVID pandemic during 2020-2022 there was much scaling back for musical events however\, the past year has seen more of  ‘normal’ levels of events for us to appear at. We now play well over 40 senior homes around the metro area and western Wisconsin. \nOver the past year\, we performed at many public events such as the Le Duc Mansion in Hastings\, MN\, the Little Log House Antique Power Weekend in July\, Oktoberfest’s in Hankinson\, ND\, Waldmann Brewery’s Oktoberfest in St. Paul\, MN\, Oktoberfest in Dallas\, WI.\, Omni Brewing in Maple Grove\, and a Concert in The Park in Blaine\, MN.  Along with these public events\, we play at over 40 different senior living locations around the Twin Cities and into western WI.  We are a big ‘hit’ wherever we appear and the folks love to sing along with us as well as dance too. \n2025 looks to be another busy year and many dates already are booked at this time including the annual Oktoberfest in Hankinson\, ND. (16th year)\, The Little Log House Antique Power Show weekend in July (17th year)\, The Le Duc Mansion Concert in the Park in Hastings\, MN. \, Dallas\, WI.’s Oktoberfest and returning to Waldmann Brewery in St. Paul for their fall Oktoberfest event. \nDon’t forget that The Squires Band is a great option for wedding dances\, birthday parties and anniversary parties as well as other corporate and community events all the year through!
